The Daastan Literary Thrive is an initiative for people who are interested in writing. This event is an attempt to recognize young talented writers, interact with them, and assist them in determining career paths. And to hear about the inspiring journeys of published authors.

Zarafshaan Tahir is co-director at the Lahore Heritage Club. She graduated from the University of Kent in 2021. Currently, she is working on the Memory Project. She will be representing Folkloristan at Daastan Literary Thrive.

سید محمد اظہر 30 مئی 1963 کو پیدا ہوئے۔ ابتدائی تعلیم واہ کینٹ سے حاصل کی ہے۔ ایف ایس سی ایم اے او کالج سے کرنے کے دوران اردو کے مشہور ادیب و مفکر اپنے استاد جناب ڈاکٹر تحسین فراقی صاحب سے متاثر ہو کر شاعری اور ادب کو اپنے مزاج کا حصہ بنا لیا۔ بی ایس سی سول لائنز کالج سے کرنے کے بعد پنجاب یونیورسٹی سے بی فارمیسی اور ایم فل فارمیسی کی ڈگری لی۔ کچھ عرصہ تدریس کے شعبے سے وابستہ رہنے کے بعد فارما انڈسٹری سے منسلک ہو گئے۔

دلی لگاؤ ادب و مصوری دونوں میں ہونے کی وجہ سے دونوں شعبوں میں کچھ طبع آزمائی کی ۔

Nayab Afzal. She started her career as a writer with the book “I am a nib written by Allah.” She has been a lecturer and trainer as well.

Hamza Nadeem is a Lahore-based psychologist and author. As a psychologist and writer, he wrote a novel about mental health.

It’s a love story, but it emphasizes the importance of our mental health. This is his first novel, ‘The Tears I Failed to Show,’ and the characters are very dear to him because they are based on real people.
